Kipling Ave. & Belfield Rd., Etobicoke, ON, Canada | June – August, 2014
Measuring 370-feet, this is the Rexdale Gateway Gateway Mural – Phase 2. It was a pleasure to be a part of this mural team alongside lead artists and muralists, Emilia Jajus and Sean Martindale. Phase 1 was completed during the summer of the previous year, and together, the murals represent a gateway to the neighbourhood of Rexdale in north Etobicoke. Being familiar with the Rexdale neighbourhood, this was a very special experience for me because I worked on a collaborative piece of art that was warmly embraced by the community (from the first paint strokes though to the end!) and one that is able to continually share the positive spirit of the neighbourhood.
