I assisted Jen Chin on this painting program titled, ‘Through the Lens of the War Artist.’ This program reflected on historical works by Canadian War Artists who braved the battlefields of WWII to document what they saw.

Throughout this program, participants dissected select war paintings and studied the colour theory in them. After building personal colour pallets inspired by the war paintings, participants created their own pieces that told a personal story.
