Toronto Pearson International Airport, Mississauga, ON, Canada | September, 2014
The Toronto Pearson International Airport holds an annual Street Festival that is open to the public and celebrates the community within the airport (40 000 people!) and it’s neighbours. The ‘street’ is a closed off section of the airfield and the festival is a very fun experience. As arts educators with Arts for Children and Youth, Andrenne Finnikin and I, were invited to the festival to create artworks inspired by travel.
